Welcome to TR Thrive's Order Posting Service ("Service"). These Order Posting Terms and Conditions ("Posting Terms") govern your use of our platform to post legal orders, including but not limited to requests for legal services, document preparation, research assignments, court appearances, and other professional legal work. By posting an order on TR Thrive, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Posting Terms in addition to our general Terms of Service.
These Posting Terms are designed to ensure compliance with Nigerian law, including the Legal Practitioners Act, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Rules of Professional Conduct, and applicable consumer protection and contract laws. They establish clear expectations for both order creators and service providers, promoting transparency, fairness, and professional standards within the legal ecosystem.
To post an order on TR Thrive, you must be at least 18 years of age, possess the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Nigerian law, and have a verified account on our platform. Orders may be posted by legal professionals seeking assistance from other lawyers, law firms requiring additional support, clients seeking legal services, or organisations needing legal work. You must provide accurate identification and contact information, and maintain an active account in good standing.
TR Thrive reserves the right to verify user identity and professional credentials before allowing order posting. This may include requesting proof of identity, professional qualifications, or business registration documents. Unverified accounts may have limited posting capabilities or be subject to additional review processes. We maintain the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or engage in fraudulent activities.
All orders posted on TR Thrive must be law-related and require legal services, legal expertise, or legal professional work. This platform is exclusively for legal gigs, including but not limited to: legal research, document drafting and review, contract preparation, court appearances, legal opinions, compliance work, regulatory filings, company incorporation, trademark registration, patent filing, due diligence, litigation support, legal translation, and other professional legal services. Orders for non-legal work (such as pet training, general tutoring, non-legal writing, graphic design, web development, or other non-legal services) are strictly prohibited and will be immediately removed. TR Thrive reserves the right to reject, remove, or suspend any order that is not clearly and directly related to legal services or legal professional work.
All orders must contain accurate, complete, and truthful information. You must provide a clear title, detailed description (maximum 1000 words), specific requirements, realistic deadlines, and a fair price (minimum ₦3,000). Misleading, false, or incomplete information may result in order removal, account suspension, or legal action. Orders must represent genuine legal work needs and comply with all applicable laws and professional standards.
Orders must not contain content that is illegal, unethical, or violates professional standards. Prohibited content includes but is not limited to: non-legal work or services (such as pet training, general tutoring, non-legal writing, graphic design, web development, or other services unrelated to law), requests for illegal activities, work that violates attorney-client privilege, assignments that breach confidentiality obligations, requests for work outside the scope of legal practice, discriminatory requirements, or content that infringes on intellectual property rights. Orders promoting fraud, money laundering, or other criminal activities are strictly forbidden and will be reported to relevant authorities.
All orders must comply with the Nigerian Bar Association Rules of Professional Conduct and applicable legal ethics rules. Orders should not request services that would violate professional boundaries, create conflicts of interest, or compromise the integrity of the legal profession. You are responsible for ensuring that your order does not require any service provider to breach their professional obligations or ethical duties.
All orders must have a minimum price of ₦3,000 (Three Thousand Naira) to ensure fair compensation for service providers and maintain professional standards. Prices must be stated clearly in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and represent the total amount you are willing to pay for the completed work, excluding any platform fees or transaction costs. You are responsible for ensuring that your offered price is fair and reasonable for the scope of work required.
By posting an order, you commit to paying the agreed price upon satisfactory completion of the work. Payment will be held in escrow through TR Thrive's secure payment system until work completion is verified. You agree to release payment promptly upon verification, subject to our dispute resolution process. Failure to pay for completed work may result in account suspension, legal action, and reporting to relevant professional bodies.
TR Thrive charges a platform fee of 5% (five percent) on all completed orders. This fee is automatically deducted from the payment amount when you verify and approve the completed work. The platform fee covers platform maintenance, escrow services, payment processing, dispute resolution support, and platform infrastructure costs. The service provider will receive the net amount after the 5% platform fee deduction. For example, if an order is completed for ₦10,000, the platform fee will be ₦500, and the service provider will receive ₦9,500. This fee structure ensures the sustainability and continued operation of the TR Thrive platform.
Optional advertising services are available for ₦1,000 (One Thousand Naira) to feature your order prominently on the platform. Advertising fees are non-refundable once the order is published, as the service is immediately delivered. Payment for advertising must be completed before order publication, and advertising does not guarantee order allocation or completion.
TR Thrive facilitates connections between order creators and service providers but does not guarantee order allocation. Service providers may express interest in your order, and you have the right to review their qualifications, experience, and proposals before making an allocation decision. You are responsible for conducting due diligence on potential service providers to ensure they meet your requirements and professional standards.
TR Thrive does not guarantee that your order will be allocated or completed. We provide a platform for connection but are not a party to the service agreement between you and the service provider. You acknowledge that the quality, timeliness, and completion of work depend on the service provider, and TR Thrive is not liable for service provider performance or non-performance.
Upon work completion, you are required to review and verify that the work meets the requirements specified in your order. You must provide verification within a reasonable timeframe (typically 7 days) or payment will be automatically released to the service provider. Verification may include reviewing deliverables, testing functionality, or confirming compliance with specifications. False verification or unreasonable rejection may result in account restrictions.
If you have concerns about work quality or completion, you must initiate a dispute through TR Thrive's dispute resolution system before payment is released. Disputes will be reviewed by our support team, and we may request additional information from both parties. TR Thrive reserves the right to make final decisions on disputes, which may include partial payment, full payment, or refund arrangements. Our decisions are binding and made in good faith based on available evidence.
Work is considered complete when it substantially meets the requirements specified in your order description and requirements. Minor variations or improvements do not constitute grounds for rejection if the core deliverables are provided. You must provide clear, specific feedback if work does not meet requirements, allowing the service provider reasonable opportunity to address concerns before initiating disputes.
You may cancel an unallocated order at any time without penalty. Once an order is allocated, cancellation may be subject to terms agreed with the service provider and may incur fees or penalties. Cancellation of allocated orders must be done through TR Thrive's cancellation process, and refunds (if applicable) will be processed according to our refund policy. Cancellation fees may apply to cover platform costs and service provider compensation for work already commenced.
You may modify unallocated orders to update requirements, deadlines, or pricing. Once allocated, modifications require agreement from the service provider and may result in price adjustments. Significant modifications may be treated as order cancellation and re-posting, subject to applicable fees. You are responsible for ensuring that modifications do not create unfair expectations or breach agreements with service providers.
Upon full payment, you own the work product created for your order, subject to any pre-existing intellectual property rights. Service providers retain rights to their methodologies, templates, and general knowledge but transfer specific work product to you. You must not use work product in ways that violate service provider rights or applicable laws. Disputes over intellectual property will be resolved according to Nigerian intellectual property law.
All parties must maintain confidentiality regarding order details, client information, and work product, in compliance with attorney-client privilege and professional confidentiality rules. You must not disclose confidential information in order descriptions and must ensure that service providers are bound by appropriate confidentiality agreements. Breaches of confidentiality may result in legal action and professional disciplinary measures.
All orders must comply with Nigerian law, including the Legal Practitioners Act, Companies and Allied Matters Act, and other applicable legislation. Orders must not require services that violate professional regulations, tax laws, or anti-money laundering requirements. You are responsible for ensuring legal compliance and may be required to provide documentation or certifications as needed.
Orders must comply with Nigerian Bar Association Rules of Professional Conduct and other relevant professional standards. You must not request services that would require service providers to breach ethical obligations, create conflicts of interest, or compromise professional integrity. Violations may result in order removal, account suspension, and reporting to professional regulatory bodies.
You are responsible for all tax obligations arising from orders posted on TR Thrive, including Value Added Tax (VAT) and income tax where applicable. TR Thrive may be required to report transactions to tax authorities as required by law. You must provide accurate tax information and comply with all Nigerian tax regulations.
TR Thrive provides a platform for connecting order creators with service providers but is not a party to service agreements. We do not guarantee order allocation, work quality, or service provider performance. TR Thrive is not liable for losses arising from service provider actions, work quality issues, or disputes between parties, except where required by Nigerian law.
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, TR Thrive's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid to us for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, business opportunities, or reputational harm. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which liability is asserted.
Violations of these Posting Terms may result in immediate order removal, temporary or permanent account suspension, or account termination. TR Thrive reserves the right to take action without prior notice for serious violations, including fraud, illegal activities, or repeated breaches of professional standards. Suspended or terminated accounts may forfeit access to pending orders and funds.
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting legal@trthrive.com with detailed information and supporting evidence. Appeals will be reviewed within 30 days, and decisions are final. During the appeal process, account restrictions remain in effect, and you may not post new orders or access restricted features.
TR Thrive may update these Posting Terms at any time to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, or operational needs. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the order posting service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may stop posting orders or terminate your account.
