- Verify Contract Terms & Conditions (standard, general, financial, and all other related documents.
- Liaise with end users/subsidiaries to establish their needs/requirements and support in developing the corresponding scope of work for contractual purposes.
- Carry out commercial negotiations to ensure award of the best technical and commercially competitive contract for the Company.
- Participate in recommendations to the award process through the Contracts Committee and/or all other approval processes.
- Draft appropriate contractual and commercial terms and conditions to best serve and protect the Company's interests.
- Prepare update reports on activities as required by Management and report any breaches of procedure to the GHLS.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, or any related field; a postgraduate degree such as an LLM is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5-9 years of work experience in an Oil and Gas company, either providing legal advisory services or by acting as in-house counsel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to make good decisions based on the law are absolutely essential.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, research, and drafting skills.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
