- Draft, review, and negotiate a comprehensive range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents for various business activities and partnerships.
- Ensure the company's full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in Nigeria and applicable jurisdictions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust legal frameworks and policies that support responsible business practices and mitigate risks.
- Provide timely and accurate legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on corporate governance, intellectual property, data protection, and other pertinent legal matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis, keeping the company abreast of changes in legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in managing potential disputes and liaising with external legal counsel when necessary.
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-call experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate, consulting, or event management environment.
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and Barrister-at-Law (BL) certification from the Nigerian Law School.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to interpret complex legal information.
- High degree of commercial awareness with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating legal concepts clearly to non-legal audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
