- Preparing, typing, formatting, and filing legal documents, letters, agreements, contracts, minutes, and official correspondence.
- Maintaining legal files, employee files, company documents, and confidential records.
- Supporting management in recruitment, onboarding, staff documentation, and HR administration.
- Keeping staff attendance, leave, disciplinary, and performance records.
- Drafting employment letters, warning letters, memos, notices, and internal communications.
- Liaising with external lawyers, consultants, government agencies, and other official bodies where required.
- Coordinating meetings, appointments, interviews, and management schedules.
- Ensuring proper documentation of company assets, staff records, contracts, and official files.
- Supporting management with compliance, workplace policies, and employee relations.
- Performing other administrative duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Law, LL.B
- Prior experience as a Legal Secretary, Administrative Officer, HR Assistant, HR Officer, Personal Assistant, or Office Secretary.
- Good knowledge of legal documentation, contracts, filing systems, staff records, and office procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, email management, and document formatting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive company and staff information.
- Good organizational, time management, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills and professional appearance.
- Knowledge of Nigerian labour practices will be an added advantage.
