Job Summary

  • A reputable law chamber is seeking to recruit a highly competent Senior Litigation Lawyer with 7–10 years post-call experience.
  • The ideal candidate will manage complex litigation matters, supervise junior lawyers, and ensure the chamber’s continued excellence in legal practice.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court and manage litigation from initiation to conclusion.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, pleadings, and contracts.
  • Provide advisory opinions and strategic legal guidance to clients.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior lawyers and interns.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian legal practice rules and ethics.
  • Maintain case files, monitor deadlines, and coordinate with external counsel.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships.

Requirements

LL.B and B.L from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum of 7–10 years post-call experience in litigation practice.
  • Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in good standing.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian court procedures and practice rules.
  • Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters.
