About the Role
Folajuwon-Banjo and Co, a dynamic and reputable law firm in Ibadan, Oyo State, is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Associate Counsel to join our thriving litigation team. This full-time, mid-level position is ideal for a legal professional with between 1 to 7 years of post-call experience who possesses a genuine passion for litigation and a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support litigation matters.
- Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court submissions.
- Assist senior counsel in preparing for hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Represent clients in court appearances, under supervision where appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Manage case files, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and adherence to deadlines.
- Contribute to the firm's overall success by upholding our standards of excellence and client service.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
- Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL) is mandatory.
- 1 to 7 years of post-call experience in legal practice.
- Demonstrable interest and foundational experience in litigation.
