The GCU Postgraduate Ambassador Scholarship aims to make a positive difference in the communities GCU serves. As a result, GCU are looking for applicants that have contributed to the common good to be an ambassador.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must have an unconditional offer to study for a master's degree at GCU (Glasgow & London campus) commencing September 2026 and be able to detail how you will cover your living costs in line with UKVI visa regulations.

Selection criteria will be based upon the following answers when you apply:

  • Applicant has a strong academic profile
  • Preference will be given to applicants with an undergraduate degree qualification Uk equivalent of First Class Honours 70% and above or Upper Second-Class Honours: 60–70%
  • Applicants who have clearly demonstrated how they have contributed to the common good
  • Applicant has demonstrated financial need
  • Applicant has clearly outlined how the programme fits with their future ambitions and goals

You will be required to agree to the Ambassadors' Charter, which outlines requirements for successful applicants. These are:

  • Record vlogs/blogs about your experience as a student of GCU
  • Successful applicants should be available for promotional activities as requested by the School.
  • One hour per week as a Unibuddy helping answer prospective students' questions about life at GCU

GCU have one scholarship per school to be awarded.

Make it comprehensive yet natural.If a question catches you off guard, stay calm and composed. You do not have to know everything. Take a brief moment to think, say what you can, and move on confidently. Do not let one tough question throw you off balance. What matters most is how quickly you recover and maintain your confidence.Finally, keep in mind that an interview is not just a test of what you know but how well you communicate it.
