Job Description

Sage Grey Finance Limited (“Sage Grey Finance” or “the Company”) is a finance services company incorporated in Nigeria. We are licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and are integrated into the Nigerian Interbank Settlement System (NIBSS). We are members of the Finance Houses Association of Nigeria (FHAN). We offer Lending Services (Project Finance, Asset Finance, Corporate finance, Consumer Loan, etc.), Fund Management Services, Advisory Services, and other services as authorized by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Description

  • The Strategy Analyst (Legal) supports the organizational strategic objectives by integrating data-driven analysis, regulatory intelligence, governance advisory and risk assessment into corporate decision-making processes.
  • The role ensures that corporate strategies, transactions and operational initiatives are aligned with regulatory frameworks and stakeholder expectations. Providing insights to support the business growth, investment structuring, risk mitigation, compliance management and institutional governance.
  • The Strategy Analyst (Legal) shall analyze internal performance metrics, external market trends, regulatory developments and emerging business opportunities enabling management make informed, risk-adjusted and sound decisions.

Key Objectives of the Role
The Strategy Analyst shall provide:

  • Support the integration of legal and regulatory considerations into corporate strategy formulation and execution.
  • Provide legal research and regulatory intelligence to guide executive and board-level decision-making.
  • Monitor evolving laws, policies and regulatory developments affecting the Company’s operations and strategic direction.
  • Assess legal, contractual and compliance risks associated with business initiatives and investments.
  • Support transaction structuring, partnerships, joint ventures and investment decisions from a legal strategy perspective.
  • Strengthen corporate governance frameworks and ensure alignment with statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • Provide advisory support on contractual strategy, dispute exposure and risk mitigation mechanisms.
  • Support organizational transformation, innovation, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in corporate law, regulatory advisory, transaction support, compliance, or legal strategy.
  • Experience in financial services, project finance, energy, or corporate advisory environments is an advantage.
