Legal Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and resourceful Legal Associate to join our team at Leam Consulting Limited. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support, draft and review documents, conduct legal research, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering quality advisory and litigation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide advice on regulatory, contractual, and corporate matters.
• Represent the company in court proceedings, arbitration, and other dispute resolution processes where required.
• Provide guidance on compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and relevant stakeholders.
• Support in the preparation of legal opinions, briefs, and reports.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Handle day-to-day legal inquiries from internal departments.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an LL.B (Hons) B.L. with strong experience in litigation or property law.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the legal field.
• Must be able to work without supervision and produce desirable results.
