Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and intellectually grounded Associate (Lawyer) to join our team. The ideal candidate is a competent legal practitioner with solid experience in legal drafting, advocacy, research, and client advisory. This role demands a proactive professional who can manage case files independently, contribute meaningfully to strategy discussions, and deliver high-quality legal work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a high level of professional integrity while supporting the firm’s broader legal objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and refine legal documents including contracts, court processes, opinions, and correspondence.
  • Conduct thorough legal research across diverse areas of law and present findings in clear, structured formats.
  • Represent clients in court, meetings, and negotiations, demonstrating strong advocacy and analytical skills.
  • Manage case files and workflow efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of assignments and compliance with procedural timelines.
  • Provide legal advisory services to clients across corporate, commercial, and litigation-focused matters.
  • Collaborate with partners and other associates to develop case strategy and contribute to internal knowledge-building.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensure confidentiality, and uphold the highest standards of legal ethics.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and legal research tools to support case preparation and ongoing client engagement.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • LL.B and B.L from accredited institutions.
  • 3–5 years post-call legal practice.
  • Skilled in drafting, advocacy, and analysis.
  • Strong research and communication skills.
  • Effective in fast-paced, team settings.
  • High ethics and professional integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal databases.
