  • Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Analyze legal issues and provide concise summaries and recommendations to senior attorneys.
  • Assist in developing legal strategies and arguments for cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, memos, and briefs
  • Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist in preparing documents for court filings and other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and address inquiries.
  • Assist in managing client relationships and maintaining client confidentiality
  • Organize case files, maintain case calendars, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings with senior attorneys
  • Assist in preparing witnesses for testimony and gathering evidence for cases.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Called to the Nigerian Bar with a minimum of 2 years post-call experience.
  • Sound knowledge of Nigerian laws and legal procedures.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical conduct.

If you have prepared well, you can adapt your existing ideas to fit new questions.Remember that first impressions matter.
